加拿大华人乒乓球协会(CCTTA)正在筹办第一届”大中华校友杯” (Alumnus Cup of Great China Area) 乒乓球友谊比赛.此次比赛的宗旨是”以球会友”.通过比赛促进校友间的联系,并丰富我们的业余生活.
此次比赛是由加拿大华人乒乓球协会主办,由协会的乒乓球爱好者协办.凡是毕业于中华区域的各个大学(大陆,香港,澳门,台湾)的乒乓球爱好者均可报名参加. 比赛是以您所在的母校为单位组队,每队3-4位选手. 如您学校有多位选手,可组建二队. 如您所在母校组队困难,也可于同地区大学共同组队. 为使比赛精彩并鼓励各级水平的选手参赛,每队3位比赛选手的乒乓总积分不得超过4000分.组委会将对无分数的选手进行评估.
比赛时间: 十一月二十一日开始
报名截止: 十一月十四日
日程:每周日比赛一次,共四-五周.如有其他大赛,此赛顺延.
费用:每队报名费$100
要求:每队应有统一的比赛队服(禁止白色和黄色),并有所在学校的名称..
奖品:总奖金: $1500. 前四名有奖.

4-5 Sundays starts from November 21st, 2010 10:00 am – 1st Annual Alumnus Cup of Great China Area
Venue: CCTTA – 1181 Denison St, Unit 6, Markham, L3R 4B2 (except Dec. 12th when the Ethnic League is being played)
Conduct: the tournament is conducted under the laws of ITTF.
Clothing: each team is required a team T-shirt other than white or yellow color with team’s name on the back of T-shirt.
Deadline of registration is Sunday November 14th, 2010; must be received by CCTTA. All entry forms must accompany with entry fees and payable to CCTTA. The entry fee is $100 per team
Eligibility and formats of the team event:
Each match is best 3 of 5 games, 11 points game. All teams will play all other teams, one or two teams a week according to the number of entries. All 3 players in each team will play all 3 players in the other team. All 9 matches have to be played. Entries of player with no rating will be subject to the organizer approval, and assigned a rating.
All teams can consist of 4 players as long as the 3 players playing the match are not exceeding 4,000 in rating.
Both players of the team must be from the same university. Should there be more than one team from the same university, it will be numbered. e.g. Beijing University I, Beijing University II
